Rick Duchane: First of all Goober Graham isn't a conservative. He is a repubican but hardly a conservative. He is an honest politician who tries his best but he is a politician not a scientist. Maggy Thatcher was definitly a conservative and may be responsible in a large part for the AGW movement. It is the law of unintended consequences. I think she largely exaggerated the science to push for more nuclear and less coal and wasn't above using cherry picked science to exaggerate for her cause. Since I like her and respect her very much that is somewhat painful. It is far more painful when modern leftist attempt to exaggerate the science for their political agenda. The left is more inclined to blame humans and industry for environmental problems than are conservatives. I think that is why conservatives seem to be much more skeptical of the claims. Julienne Poplawski: I have been saying for years there is NO global warming. Do the research yourself. They have been keeping weather records for a little over 100 years. Fine a legitimate website that gives you the daily temperature, for each day of the last 100 years. I di! d this a few years ago, it does take a lot of time, it took me months. Put the data in a chart, and you will see that the average daily temperature today is exactly what it was when they started keeping records. It was all BS from the beginning about global warming, I'm glad we now know the whole thing was fabricated.Now I will say there is climate change. Meaning that the temperature around the world is changing. Some areas are getting warmer, but it's balanced by the fact some areas are getting colder.
