Jorge Detlefs: i took it to NTB, which personally i think they over charge. they want 79.99 for an alignment (which i think is crap since it doesn't take any effort really to do an alignment)
Shena Etulain: Common term for what they are trying to do is "Wallet Flushing". Any kind of "Flush" far a motor vehicle is unnecessary for maintaining your vehicle. It is a way for a shop to make easy money from the customer. Brake fluid exchange and fuel system service are just 2 of thee highly touted "wallet flushes" people are being scammed with. Strut repairs, another scam. You will be told that the struts can make your brakes wear out faster, they ruin your front end alignment, wear out tires and more. Again all a scam. Now cha! nging the engine oil and filter because it may ahve an oil leak is an out and out scam. You renigne oil and filter should be changed regularly. Consult your owners manual for mileage recommendations. Todays motor oils have no problem going 4-5000 miles between changes. Synthetic oils can go longer. You must however use the oil your vehicle requires. Again consult your owners manual. Next a tire store should know better than to just plug a tire. It should have been removed from the whll and checked for internal damage, then repaired on hte inside. Find a reputable shop for your vehicle maintainence and repair needs....Show more
