Krystal Cordovano: it probably nneans when they cant find another job in their field after getting fired
Tracy Huesso: Getting fired typically doesn't destroy a career - you just get a new job possibly in the same career field. If you were fired for gross incompetence or fired and sued for something (negligence, theft, whatever) then it could be really hard to get a new job so that could certainly destory a career.,
Lindsey Zanardi: If the person should never have been fired to begin with, the career was destroyed. If the person finds a new job in the same field, but they do not have the same clout, same reputation, same pay, same rank (supervisor experience), etc., the career was destroyed. If the person ends up never finding a job in said field again, the career was destroyed....Show more
Buddy Ardd: No, destroying a career is when some fool does something stupid, such as Kevin Spacey, et al. Most people get fired, then move on.
Bennie Lantgen: ! A doctor losing his license is a career destroyed
Dalila Yoon: Being fired doesnât mean the end of the world, people are still able to get jobs after getting fired. My boss wife currently works for the goverment and has been fired many times before from previous employment.
