Troy Staton: hye my dear erica.. im glad to hear that you want to be a preshool teacher. i bet you really love kids. actually my husband is a preschool teacher in one the schools in malaysia. he loves kids very much. actually my husband owns a bachelor degree in anthropology and sociology. The bachelor certificate is not related to preschool education al all. After graduation, my husband applied for a one year course that related to early childhood education. This course is introduced by Malaysian ministry of education in order for the graduate to obtaine the Malaysian education diploma. In your case, you should refer to ministry of education or what ever you call it in canada. Make sure you choose a right course eg. early childhood education when you want to further your study. you can surf the website of college and university in canada and search for the keyword early childhood education.you also can refer to this blog which compiled a various article about preschool e! ducation.
