Oscar Wieland: 1. I hate special ed. because i'm in special ed. i get buied. I mean i'm not a loser, i have allot of friends. Just because i learn differently i don't think i need to be labeled as stupid. Kids call me brick because they think i'm dumb as a brick.2. yes and no. I admit that I do benefit from extra help, but wouldn't everyone?3. i hate being called stupid and everyone knowing. i'm a normal kid who just learns differently and i don't see the big deal in that. Rashad Marecki: Actually generally it is less likely that a school district will easily qualify a child as a special needs child because the school district spends ($X) on each child for general education. Special education students often require 2-3 times as much money for the services they need. Therefore it is unlikely that a district would qualify students unnecessarily because that money has to come from somewhere and that don't have any excess to wo! rk with usually.
Bo Perham: 1. It's a good idea, it helps students who need extra help, get it and succeed in school, if there was no Special ed, some students my not succeed.2. Yes and No. I obvious need it, because I need help to learn the same as other students, but at the same time, I sometimes feel like i'm less than other students. But in the end yes.3. I like the fact that it gives us a chance to be the same as everyone else, I don't like it cause it gives other kids a chance to be the retarded one....Show more
